In accordance to Arizona Executive Order (EO 2021-04), Pinon Unified School District will be returning to full in person instruction for grades Preschool to 12th Grade for SY2021-2022.
Pinon USD will be working with Navajo Nation and the Center for Disease Center on safely returning our students back to school.

School year 2020-2021 calendar indicated that May 28 is the last day, which included 10 extra days in case of mud/snow days. We did not use any of those days, therefore May 14 is officially the last day of school. 🥳🥳
PES Onsite Services
Good Morning Students and Parents/Guardians,
We are offering Onsite Services at PES Monday thru Thursday from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. Please Arrive before 8 am; No students are allowed in the building after 8 am. Drop is at the front loop of PES at 7:30 am, please remain in the vehicle and a staff member will meet you at your vehicle. All students need to have temperature checks done and a waiver must be signed. If you have not completed your enrollment packet or are missing documents those must be turned in prior to being allowed in the PES building. For onsite services students get Chrome Computers to use that day, the internet is connected, hand sanitizing stations are set up, and breakfast/ lunch will be served. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the PES front office at 928-725-2201/2202.

You have the opportunity to pick-up your student(s) belongings at PES. Someone will be available at the elementary school to bring you your students belongings. To promote social distancing, pick-up will be in Alphabetical Order by day.

All belongings will have sat untouched for at least three days to self-sanitize before pick-up.
On the scheduled days and times, parents will come to the PES Front Entrance and give a PES staff member the name of their student(s). The PES staff member will pick-up the student(s) bag of belongings in the Art room, carry it to the parent/guardian waiting outside the PES main entrance door and hand it to the parent/guardian. Nobody will enter the school. The parent/guardian will be given their student(s) belongings, then leave. This is to promote social distancing.
Good Morning Parents. This is a reminder for Parent & Teacher Conference scheduled for today, Wednesday February 5th. Elementary will start at 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Middle School will be from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. High School will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm. We hope to see you there. 📚✏️🖍📊 There will be no After-School Activities today due to PTC.
There will be no school for Pinon USD on Monday, December 9 due to muddy conditions and more rain expected for this evening. 10-month staff do not report to work. 11 and 12 month staff do report to work but can take leave with supervisor approval. Keep warm and stay dry!
Pinon USD will be on an early release schedule Wednesday, December 4th due to the melting snow and additional rain in the forecast for today. There will be no after school activities. All students should be on the buses when they depart campus at 1:30. Stay warm and say dry!
Please note that Pinon USD will be on Thanksgiving Break starting on November 25-29. District Office and Schools will be close. Thank you.
