Arizona FAFSA Challenge 2023-24 Award!!

It is with great pleasure that, on behalf of the Arizona Board of Regents and the Arizona Governor’s Office, we extend our congratulations to Pinon High School for being awarded the Most Improved FAFSA Completion award for the 2023-2024 school year. Despite the challenges posed during this FAFSA cycle, your high school has increased its FAFSA completion rate by 19% compared to last year, leading the state in its
small enrollment category. Your school’s unwavering dedication to increasing FAFSA completions among your students is commendable and recognized throughout Arizona. Thank you for surpassing expectations to elevate your school’s FAFSA completion rate, thereby equipping more Arizona students with the tools to pursue post-secondary success.
To commemorate this remarkable accomplishment, a personalized trophy will be mailed to your school in early May. Additionally, a certificate signed by the Arizona Board of Regents Chair Mata and the Arizona Governor Hobbs will be sent to your school.
We are excited to formally announce Pinon High School as the winner of this award in our statewide Arizona FAFSA Challenge newsletter, scheduled to be sent on Monday, May 13th. Furthermore, we will highlight your high school on our CollegeReadyAZ social media accounts and the AZ FAFSA Challenge website.
